Choose how many to build. Winnowed reads each company’s website on your computer (the home page, the contact page and the contact link in its own menu) and takes the address the business publishes. A website only counts when it proves it belongs to the company: its registered number, its full registered name or its registered postcode. If it cannot prove that, the row gets no website and no contact, and says why.
The care providers run of 196 took 28 min 24 s. Our published guide is about 360 an hour, measured on a run of 2,773 companies, so plan on that.
When we tested a list of the kind brokers sell, 4 addresses in 10 were dead or belonged to a different company.
The file is saved in your own Downloads folder. A person’s own address is withheld by rule, and the row keeps the company’s website and any phone number instead. Where a site refused us or would not load, the row says so and tells you to open it yourself.
